Basic requirements of copy paper purchase1. Paper quality All paper has a natural tendency to curl slightly, which is due to the fact that the paper is usually retained in a large roll before it is cut. The direction of curling (the opposite side of the preferred printing surface) is usually marked with an arrow on the paper package. Most laser printers require the paper roll surface to be placed upward (printing the other side), which can reduce the incidence of paper failure and paper obstruction. 2. Paper surface and curl All paper must be kept clean. Wet paper cannot be fed accurately and may be tilted or folded on the paper path. The print quality on wet paper is usually poor. On a laser printer, wet shifts may show a trance (or not at all). In all cases, the paper should be isolated from dust and dust, which may contaminate the printer's mechanical device. Please use new paper (especially after the printer has been idle for a long time). 3. Paper condition In printing, the paper must pass through a precise paper path. So paper that is too light or heavy may refuse to enter the printer. As a result, light or heavy paper is usually not suitable for most printers. Will lead to frequent paper obstruction. Most laser printers are designed to use paper weighing about 70-90 grams per square meter, or 20-24 pounds in U.S. units. Some laser printers use 60 grams per square meter of paper, but this is an exception rather than a common phenomenon. 4. Paper weight The paper can be considered white or colored. In order to ensure smooth feeding, the paper must be cut clean and accurately. You may find that some cheap paper is not precisely cut, the size of the paper may deviate from the size stated on the package by 2-3 mm, and the cheap paper may be covered with dust. These problems should be avoided. |
